Crossroads Tutoring Program
The Believe*Achieve Tutoring Program at Crossroads Elementary School focuses on providing high-quality tutoring to increase student success in reading and math. The program, now in it's fourth year, recruits volunteer tutors from local universities, colleges, businesses, and community centers.
Tutoring Occurs:
Monday-Friday from 8:40-2:30 pm (Teachers recommend students for this program)
Tutoring for the 2012-2013 school year will begin in October.
AmeriCorps VISTA member Stephanie Sowma and Cultural Specialist Sylvia Perez coordinate this program. Stephanie coordinates tutoring for the Science program and Sylvia coordinates tutoring for the Montessori program.
