Welcome! This is my 12th year teaching in Saint Paul Public Schools. I love the students, families, and year-round schedule at Crossroads!
A little about me...
I grew up in Williston, North Dakota and Billings, Montana. I went to Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education (K-6) in December 2000. In January 2001, I started subbing in Saint Paul Public Schools. I was invited to teach Intersession at Crossroads in February and May of that year. During that summer, I was a long-term sub for one of the E1 Montessori teachers at Crossroads. In August 2001, I was hired at Crossroads! I began as an Excel (5.5) teacher and moved to Kindergarten halfway through the year. I really enjoy teaching Kindergarten!
My husband and I have a 3-year-old daughter. I love being a mom!
Please remember to check and sign your child's folder each week for important information as well. Folders need to be returned no later than Wednesday.
Know where your child is going each day for Specialist.
Please remember to keep your child's book in a safe place. The safest place is their backpack! If your child returns the book to their backpack after reading it, it will not get lost. Plus, they will be able to check out a new book each week! The best way to become a reader is to read, read, read!
