Meet the teacher!

My name is Drew Kunkel. I have been teaching in St. Paul since 2005 and at Crossroads since 2011.

I have two children: Bennett (6) is in Kindergarten and Jillian (3) is in her first year of preschool.

I like to play a lot of instruments, including saxophone and guitar, and I really like to make things up and record my music.

In addition to my musical interests, I like to dance, woodwork, fish, and kayak--though that doesn't mean I'm very good at any of them.

I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education in 1999, and from the University of St. Thomas with a Master of Music in Music Education in 2010.
