Horton, Adrienne

Hello! My name is Adrienne Horton. The students refer to me as Mrs. Horton.  I am so excited to be joining your child on his or her journey through school and taking part in creating the foundation for your child's educational experiences. 

I earned a BA in Early Childhood at Tuskegee University and a Masters of Elementary Education at the University of Minnesota. Within my first 2 years of teaching second grade in Georgia I was introduced and trained using the Montessori approach. There I earned my Lower Elementary Montessori Certification. I taught Lower Elementary(E1) for six years in Georgia.  I have also completed my Primary Montessori Certification at the University of Wisconsin- River Falls.  In 2013, I began teaching Primary Montessori (Children's House) at Crossroads.

Other favorite things: walking, biking, reading, spending time with my family and friends
