Family School Compact

Crossroads Family School Compact 2025-2026

What Is a Family-School Compact?

A Family-School Compact for Achievement is an agreement that parents, students and teachers develop together. It explains how parents and teachers will work together to make sure all students get the individual support they need to reach and exceed grade level standards.

Jointly Developed with Parents

The parents at Crossroads helped develop this Compact for Achievement. School-wide meetings are held each year to upload the compact. Parents are welcome to contribute comments at any time, and the compact can be flexibly adjusted as needed.  For more information on the compact, or to suggest changes please contact Principal Tracy Buhl.

Communicating About Learning

Crossroads is committed to communicating regularly with families about children’s learning in the following ways:

  • Weekly Thursday take-home folders
  • Monthly Principal’s Newsletter (email)
  • Direct emails with teachers
  • Phone calls
  • Conferences (in person and virtual)
  • The school website
  • Schoology, Seesaw, Google Meets
  • Social Media posts

Do you have questions about your child’s progress? Parents are encouraged to contact their child’s teacher.
