Reading

The percentage of all students on track or benchmark (low risk) in reading will increase by 5% from Spring 2025 to Spring 2026 as measured by FASTBridge data.

 

The percentage of students in grades 3-5 scoring proficient or higher in mathematics will increase by at least 5% as measured by MCA II Reading Assessment in spring 2026.








 
  • K-5 Teachers will use data from the Fastbridge Screening to Intervention report (S2) to create small groups and plan targeted differentiated reading instruction to meet student needs.
 
  • K-2 teachers will give the UFLI spelling assessment every 5th day of instruction and use the results to adjust small groups and plan targeted lessons based on student needs.

The percentage of 3-5 students scoring partial, meets or exceeds on MCA Reading assessments will increase from 

25.8 % to 30.8% in Spring 26.

Math

The percentage of K-5 students scoring on level or about level will increase by 15% measured by fall, winter and spring HMH growth measure.



 

The percentage of students in grades 3-5 scoring proficient or higher in mathematics will increase by at least 5% as measured by MCA II Mathematics Assessment in spring 2026.





 
  • Teachers will plan and deliver daily math instruction that includes all components of the math framework-whole group, small group and independent practice.
 
  • Classroom walkthroughs will take place to confirm adherence to all components of the math instructional framework.  Look-fors form will be developed with Leadership Team and shared with teachers prior to walkthroughs
 
  • Teachers schedule daily times to pull small, flexible groups based on student needs.

  • 100% of daily lesson plans reflect scheduled time for small flexible group instruction.
 
  • The percentage of 3-5 students scoring partial, meets or exceeds on MCA Math assessments will increase from 20.2% to 25.2%in Spring 26.

Culture / Climate

The rate of consistent attendance for all students in Q1 To Q4 will improve from 61.1% in May 2025 to 66.1% in May 2026 as measured by school records.

By September 24, the Attendance Team will review data from previous school years and identify student groups who may be at risk of having higher rates of inconsistent attendance.

 

Each month the attendance team and all teachers will recognize students with 100% consistent attendance.  Recognition will vary throughout the year.

In the first 3 weeks of school, teachers of at-risk, students will connect with families to build positive relationships as documented by logging information.

 

Attendance team will meet weekly to analyze data and follow up with students/families as needed 100% of Roadrunner Buddies will call/text/email families that have up to 5 unexcused absences and document them in log.

 

Weekly attendance team and clerk staff will make phone calls, send alert letters, create success plans and make referrals to community resources to address barriers.
